Escape to a Hansel and Gretel style cottage set right on a quiet sandy beach on Raymond Island aka Koala island. Set in 400 square kilometres of Australia’s largest inland waterway, the abundant wildlife can be observed up close in their natural environment including the large koala population.
Located on the Melbourne-Sydney tourist road this 10 acre property is the opportunity to slow down, take a breath of fresh sea air and appreciate the natural beauty of the tall gum trees and Old Man Banksia forest. It’s truly a bird watchers paradise with Crimson Rosellas eating directly from your hand.
The two cottages with new Austrian style kitchens are interconnected if required and accommodate up to eight guests. Both cottages have their own private alfresco outdoor dining areas and a shared Gazebo barbecue area.
Kayaks and bikes are complimentary for exploring or riding to visit the many Paynesville cafes.
