With over 150 bird species, Laratinga Wetlands is a birding paradise and has become an important habitat for a range of resident, migratory and nomadic bird species.
61 species present at any one time, some with State, Regional and International significance (such as Latham’s Snipe).
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a coffee before embarking on your guided birding tour. Please let them know if you have a focus species (eg. some species include: Pink-eared Duck, Australian Reed Warbler, Superb fairy Wren, etc).
