Perfectly located to explore the Milawa gourmet region, Pioneer Bridges campground offers a flat, shady, and easily accessible site on the banks of the Ovens River. It is three hours drive north east of Melbourne.

This family-friendly bush campground allows dogs, requires no booking or fees, and is suitable for two wheel drive vehicles and small caravans. Facilities include toilets, picnic tables and a fire pit.

Swim, fish, and kayak in the river or relax under the shade of the large deciduous trees.

Due to its popularity, especially during summer and long weekends, it’s best to arrive early and have a backup plan.
