The menu showcases the freshest Tasmanian fish straight from Mures own boats Diana & Selkie. This is Mures signature hook-to-plate practice, which is offered alongside other premium local seafood sourced from the region’s finest producers. Every dish is developed to highlight the unmatched quality of Tasmanian seafood.
With superb views over Victoria Dock, Upper Deck unites place and plate with a fresh approach to a la carte dining, where the passion for the sea and Tasmanian produce shines in each dish. Mures Upper Deck is the flagship of a group of companies founded by George and Jill Mure over 50 years ago. They proudly remain a family-owned business with a passion for local seafood, Tasmania, and a commitment to sustainably managed seafood practices.

Southern Bluefin tuna carving ceremony
Fresh from the winter waters of southern Tasmania, this ocean-to-plate dining event honours the renowned Southern Bluefin tuna. Third generation fisher Jock Mure will expertly carve a whole fish in front of your eyes before the culinary team transforms the tuna into a 4-course degustation with paired wines personally presented by local winemakers. Join this 3hr dining event at 6pm on select dates every three weeks during Off Season, from 5 May to 18 August 2026.

Caters for people who use a wheelchair.
- Step free outdoor pathways (includes picnic areas, barbecues and shelters)
- A step free main entrance to the building and/or reception area (includes ramps or slopes with a maximum gradient of 1:14, otherwise are too steep for wheelchairs)
- Step free access to restaurant, lounge and bar
- Step free access to the conference or function room
- Lifts with enough space for people using a mobility aid to enter and turn around to use the lift buttons. Buttons are at accessible height.
- Doorways which are easy to open and have lever handles (doorways 850mm or wider when open and not heavy).
- An accessible public toilet which is unlocked.
- At least one wheelchair accessible parking space with wheelchair accessible signage clearly displayed (International standards are 3200mm wide x 2500 mm high).
Allergies and intolerances
Caters for people with allergies and intolerances.
- Modify their cooking and cleaning practices to cater for people with food allergies or chemical intolerances (could include menus with meals free from: nuts, dairy, seafood, eggs, gluten etc).
- Staff are trained to respond to allergic reactions.
- Complies with The Food Authority requirements for allergy management in food preparation.
- Equipment to respond to anaphylactic shock such as epi–pens and defibrillator.
