Gayle Taylor and Serena Abbinga established Serengale Vineyard and Winery in 1999 at the foothills of the Victorian Alps in Beechworth Victoria.

All of their wines are made from grapes grown on their single vineyard from selected fruit, using wild yeast, gentle handling, unfiltered, low intervention winemaking techniques. Gayle, their winemaker, focuses on expressing the season, the variety and the select areas of the vineyard, to make handcrafted wines that reflect a sense of place and season.

The cellar door experience is set within the winery, where you can taste their wines surrounded by the ambiance of the wines maturing in the best French oak barrels, looking out over the vineyard from where it all starts. There is also an outdoor area that looks out onto the vineyard.
