Welcome to The Grange on Kalgan, a unique heritage bed and breakfast/farm stay experience 22 kilometres from the City of Albany overlooking the peaceful Kalgan River Valley.
The 12.5-acre property features extensive landscaped bird-attracting gardens and water features together with an extensive organic orchard boasting many varieties of fruit and olive trees.
The one-bedroom suite (Vineyard View Room) features a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom, with a private deck and sweeping views over the Kalgan River Valley. Maximum occupancy is for two people.
The two-bedroom suite (Vineyard View Room and River View Room) features a king-size bed and a queen-size bed with a shared bathroom. Maximum occupancy is for four people, which suits a family or two couples travelling together.
Rooms are air-conditioned and heated in the winter. The large living room has a large open wood fireplace, pool table and bar with television facilities.
Their bed and breakfast guests are treated to a delicious country continental gourmet breakfast (featuring a range of local produce) daily. Guests have a larger area of the house with not only a large living area but also access to the kitchen for the preparation of meals.
The holiday package includes a guided tour of the landscaped gardens to discover how ‘The Grange on Kalgan’ has successfully adopted eco-responsible, sustainable practices.
