First, you’ll travel to the gorgeous Emu Bay Lavender Farm and be delighted by the sight of waving fields of purple lavender.

Next, you’ll stop off at Island Beehive in Kingscote where you can observe a functioning beehive, and enjoy a tasting of some of the famous Ligurian Bee Honey that the island is known for.

Next it is on to Bay of Shoals Winery where you be treated to a tasting of their amazing wines.

Next up is a tasting session at Kangaroo Island Brewery. We will also stop here for lunch (not included) so enjoy some time to sit back and relax.

We head on to American River, first visited by Europeans in 1802 when Matthew Flinders landed to survey the island. We head to the iconic Oyster Farm Shop. Taste some of the local Kangaroo Island oysters harvested and shucked right there at the shop.

After a fun day of tasting local food and wines we head back to Penneshaw, full, happy and with great memories.

Morning Tea At Emu Bay Lavender Farm

Be delighted by the sight of waving fields of purple lavender with over 51 acres of land and an estimated 7500 lavender plants. Enjoy a delicious morning tea of farm made lavender scones, local apple cider and take a moment to browse the farm-shop for other Lavender based delights like their signature Lavender Honey.

Honey Tasting at Island Beehive

Observe a functioning beehive and enjoy tastings of some of the famous Ligurian Bee Honey that the island is known for. Don’t forget to take a moment to browse the local wares available and we always recommend picking up a tub of honey ice cream to try.

Bay of Shoals Winery

Bay of Shoals cellar door offers spectacular views of the Bay of Shoals and Reeves Point, the site of the first European settlement in South Australia.

Kangaroo Island Brewery

The first cellar door microbrewery on Kangaroo Island. Nestled a short distance from the main town on the island, Kingscote, it is a haven for craft beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

Fresh Out Of The Sea Oyster Farm Shop

The Oyster Farm provides a farm gate for Kangaroo Islands famous Oyster Farm. Browse through their wares (it’s not just oysters on offer!) and enjoy a tasting of a freshly shucked oyster!
