Collect is The Lock-Up’s annual fundraising exhibition, showcasing over a hundred emerging, mid-career and established artists from Newcastle and the Hunter, as well as The Lock-Up’s broader artistic program.

Curated by Early Career Curator Ella Grace Paterson, Collect celebrates and platforms the diverse and vibrant creative community and is proud to showcase early career through to established artists alongside the diverse and highly regarded artistic program .

Collect is about connecting the community and expanding the creative ecosystem, connecting artists with collectors big and small. This year, as always, an inspiring line-up of many disciplines is expected, with both established and emerging artists encouraged to apply.

Each exhibiting artist contributes a work to be exhibited and sold, raising funds for the not-for-profit, independent art space. Works are available for purchase in the gallery and via The Lock-Up’s online shop from opening night.
