The new exhibition in the Members’ Gallery at Blue Knob is entitled For the Love of… — a theme that has been intentionally open-ended to allow for a wide range of interpretations.

The artworks reflect passions, people, places, processes, materials, causes, memories — and sometimes something wonderfully unexpected.

In the Solo Space, local artist Shannamay presents her exhibition R.A.W. – Reclaiming Ancient Wisdom.

As they find themselves in a time of unravelling old power structures, the chaos of the world grows louder. It can feel as though they are constantly bombarded with increasing amounts of information, dysregulating the nervous system and drawing them into that chaos.

Moving into stillness, bearing witness, and regulating their own nervous systems is, one of the most powerful things they can do right now — for themselves, their community, and their planet.

Art and creative practices bring them back into their being — into the present moment — a place of stillness. Here, they strengthen their power as creators, a power that can ripple outward into the remaking of their world.

The people have the power.
