Broome Town Tour
Some of the highlights include the beauty and intrigue of Chinatown including Streeter’s Jetty, a scenic drive past The Mangrove Hotel and famed Matso’s Broome Brewery, enroute to the Town Beach precinct overlooking the tidal wetlands of the Roebuck Bay Marine Park. Time to stretch the legs in the parkland and hear about the Catalina Flying Boat wrecks from WWII as well as the staircase to the moon, a natural phenomenon that occurs over the bay on a full moon.
Then onto the newly renovated Broome Golf Club to soak in the views of the Broome Wharf and Simpsons Beach before heading westward towards Gantheaume Point.
Time to hop-off and explore Gantheaume Point, with its vibrant colours and rich history, it is an extraordinary part of Australia’s coastline. The kids will be delighted with the chance to walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs, and the unique lighthouse offers plenty of photo opportunities. We end up at world-renowned Cable Beach. A must-see!
