Located just a short drive from Daylesford, Rutherford Park Country Retreat is a group accommodation centre situated in picturesque countryside, with uninterrupted 100 kilometre views over the surrounding farmland to the hills beyond.

With its quiet and private rural setting, Rutherford Park has been catering to the needs of personal development retreats, music rehearsal, conferences and various other community organisations for over 25 years.

Rutherford Park offers guests a range of meeting rooms, large split level dining room, ensuite bathrooms to all accommodation rooms, a deck area with fire pit, large outdoor court area (basketball, netball, etc.) and an expansive lawn area with volleyball. With air-conditioning to the main meeting room and central hydronic heating throughout the entire facility, Rutherford Park is a great destination all year round.

Rutherford Park prides itself on catering good wholesome country style meals of generous proportions. Guests with special dietary requirements are also happily catered for (with prior notice).

Rutherford Park is located 15 minutes from Daylesford, 30 minutes from Ballarat, 80 minutes from Tullamarine Airport and 90 minutes from Melbourne’s city centre.

Rutherford Park Country Retreat offers multiple conference/meeting rooms of varying sizes. Their two main conference rooms feature central hydronic heating, evaporative cooling, stage and adjacent public toilets, plus data projector, screen and associated AV equipment.

Their accommodation rooms range in capacity from single share through to multiple share accommodation. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom and central hydronic heating.

General access

  • Offers multiple options for booking – web, email, phone is available.
  • Asks all visitors if there are any specific needs to be met.
  • Advise tour guides of the access needs of guests at the time of booking (includes pick up and drop off requirements)
