Warroo Homestead is an elegantly renovated 1930s farm house with stunning views over the Murrumbidgee River. Only 15 mins from Yass, 25 mins from the Murrumbateman wineries, 55 mins from Canberra and 3 hours from Sydney. This historic home offers a comfortable and luxurious stay for up to 8 people. Come enjoy the spectacular sunsets, roaring fireplace, BBQ with friends or family on the wide undercover veranda, and a glorious 15 metre pool to dip into and gaze out to far reaching views.
It has many original features, contemporary appliances for your comfort, reverse cycle central heating and cooling, wi-fi, and good 4G connectivity. Floor to ceiling velvet curtains add an air of old world luxury. The homestead is a blend of rustic charm and relaxed elegance.
The home consists of four bedrooms, country kitchen, formal lounge and dining rooms, tv room, sunroom, and bathroom with shower, clawfoot bath and toilet, and an additional toilet.
Outdoors there’s a large veranda equipped with a hooded gas BBQ, a dining setting, and a chairs to relax back in and take in the views over the pool down to the Murrumbidgee River. The salt water pool is large enough to swim laps or just to take a dip and cool down with friends or family.
Located on a working farm, you will see sheep roaming the paddocks.
