Located in the Gold Coast Hinterland and nestled in Thunderbird Park on Tamborine Mountain, the Thunderegg & Crystal Mine is an amazing and unique activity for the whole family.
Discover your own hidden treasures from prehistoric volcanic lava in the world’s largest Thunderegg Mine. Admission includes an informative talk, learning all about Thundereggs, how to look and fossick for them and how to do it safely, then everyone gets their picks and buckets and heads to the mine on the mountain. Fill your bucket with treasures that you can take home and you also get a Souvenir Miner’s Permit to commemorate the occasion.
Birthdays, School and Vacation Care groups are catered for aswell.
