Head, Foot, Hand Bronze Statue created and donated by local artist, the late Mark Chiles. Mark created the sculpture to be a representation of life in Barmera. The hand represents work and the music festival, the foot is a symbol of the two popular Riverland activities (dance & sport) whereas the head represents the female principal as Mr Chiles felt there was too many male monuments, military and whatnot in our culture.
