Take to the skies near Geelong, Victoria’s second-largest city, and discover a breathtaking mix of coastline and countryside. From above, enjoy rolling green hills, vibrant farmland, the winding Barwon River, and the sparkling Port Phillip Bay. On clear mornings, views extend to the You Yangs and the distant ocean.
Flights launch from various locations depending on wind conditions, including Geelong, Murgheboluc, Bannockburn, and the Bellarine Peninsula – each offering a unique perspective of this stunning region. Ballooning operates year-round, weather permitting, with peak season from November to March.
Geelong is just over an hour from Melbourne, making it ideal for a day trip or overnight stay.
The meeting point is Holiday Inn and Suites Geelong, 1.5 hours before sunrise. You will travel with their team to the launch site. The ground crew will organise your return from the landing site. The experience also includes a gourmet buffet with sparkling wine at Holiday Inn.
The total duration of the experience is about 4 to 4.5 hours.
