Sunlodge Tourist Park is located in Mant Street, Point Vernon, the quieter end of Hervey Bay, overlooking beautiful Gatakers Bay. All units are single storey with ocean views. Access to the beach is down a little walking track, and across a park, about 200 metres.

They feed the lorikeets every afternoon, and the Park is across the road from a large area of parkland, where there are often kangaroos and always lots of birds.

Units, Cabins and Van Sites each have their own private ensuite and are set in quiet surroundings with a swimming pool, barbecue area and laundry.

All K’gari (Fraser Island) tours, fishing trips and whale watching trips (July to November) can be organised with courtesy pickups available. The park is pet friendly and there are many on and off-leash beaches close by.

There is a boat ramp adjacent to the Park, and the area is one of the best fishing spots in the Bay. They are one kilometre from the corner takeaway shop, and the main shopping centre is a seven-minute trip in the car. All accommodation has air conditioning, fans, personal ensuites, and is self-contained and self-catering.
