Mackay’s Yellow Brick Road is a must-visit city attraction.
Officially opened by Mayor Greg Williamson in 2017, the mural was commissioned by local business, Sun City Signs, to commemorate Elton John’s visit to the region. It’s located on the external Westpac building wall in the City Centre.
This colourful and quirky art piece is the perfect backdrop for some Summer photos and can be found in Fourth Lane, off Wood Street. Be sure to check it out while you are exploring the Mackay City Centre murals.
