Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park is nestled among a sea of vines in the world-famous Coonawarra wine region. Penola is a picture-perfect country town with a fascinating history and smorgasbord of food and wine experiences.
Coonawarra is home to over 25 Cellar doors scattered along one stretch of road – the Riddoch Highway – named after Coonawarra’s founding Father, John Riddoch.
Penola is located 4 hours South of Adelaide and 5 hours West of Melbourne.
The park is situated within easy walking distance to the centre of town, the local supermarket, tourist centre, hotels, cafes and specialty shops.
This dog friendly park has a quiet country feel among gum trees and offers numerous accommodation :- Cabins, Ensuite Powered Sites, Unpowered Sites, Backpackers and Workers Accommodation.
Penola Coonawarra Caravan Park is an affiliated G’day Park as well as TAWK (Travelling Australia with Kids) association.
The park has fire pits for hire because what camping trip is complete without a campfire.
