This is High Country camping one hour from Canberra. Bordering the Tallaganda National Park, this camping is set on 100 acres of rural land with a sense of remoteness with a sealed road access only 1 km away.This property is not farm. You will only share it with the wildlife that includes numerous kangaroos that come in from the National Park in the evening to feed. The principal camping place (The Park) is situated next the park boundary and provides space for two tents or a tent and camper trailer. The rest of the camping is on “The Range”. This is a perfect place to chill and enjoy the beauty of the countryside which includes stunning sunsets over the Tinderry mountains. If you want to explore there is walking in the park or visits to The Big Hole, the water wheel at Lowden Forest Park and the old mine at Captains Flat.A flush toilet and drinking water is situated external to the cottage on the property (located 120 metres from “The Park” site).
