The Highland Caravan Park is situated on the halfway point of the Hobart to Strahan touring route. Open Dec – April (inclusive). It has 15 powered spacious sites, ample toilets and showers with hot water and a guest laundry.
The Highlander Arms Tavern is open on select nights from Nov to April.
Activities include kayaking, waterfall walks and mountain biking. Say hello to the highland cattle, go fishing with Australia’s best guides or just get pointed in the right direction. Guests can enjoy golf (locally) or simply hang out with the ducks and goats.
You can also spot a wombat and quolls plus over 80 bird species all on the 300-acre private Estate. Staying at the Highland Caravan Park is great for families, children and touring couples.
