The Family Snorkeling Tour is a private, guided experience designed especially for families with children aged six and up. It’s the most affordable option for families wanting a safe, fun way to explore Sydney’s underwater world together.

The tour begins with a relaxed chat about everyone’s swimming ability and comfort in the water. Your guide will then fit each family member with high-quality snorkeling equipment, including child- and adult-sized wetsuits, masks, snorkels, and fins.

You’ll snorkel in calm, protected waters selected for the day based on marine activity and conditions. Expect to spot friendly blue gropers, schools of colourful fish, and perhaps even an octopus or stingray.

Your guide will stay close throughout the session, checking in regularly and making sure everyone feels supported. Whether your little ones prefer the shallows or want to go a little deeper, the experience is tailored to your family’s pace and confidence.

Underwater photos are included so you can enjoy the moment and take home lasting memories.

A minimum of one guardian must participate. Children must be at least six years old.

Sydney Snorkeling

Sydney Snorkeling offers guided group, private, and family-friendly snorkeling tours in Sydney’s clear, protected waters. Based at Clovelly’s Bronte-Coogee Aquatic Reserve near Bondi, the experience reveals some of the 600 marine species that call Sydney home—such as blue gropers, mado, Maori wrasse, stingrays, and cuttlefish.

Led by experienced guides, tours are tailored to recent marine activity, increasing the chance of exciting encounters. Guides assist in spotting sea life and capturing underwater photos, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the moment.

High-quality snorkel gear and optional flotation devices are provided. Guests can float peacefully on the surface or dive down to explore more closely.

All participants must be able to swim 200 metres unassisted and float for 60 minutes.
