‘Off on Tangents’ is the current exhibition of a variety of the more unusual artworks created by Christine Upton at Wacky Bird Gallery in Corowa.
You will be able to see an eclectic selection of works that have occurred throughout Christine’s long journey as a professional artist.
These work are usually created between series of what would be called ‘normal’ and and are used to express ideas that seem only vaguely related to the work of the time.
Sometimes they satisfy the need to just play like a child and see what happens. Other times they are used to explore a new technique or medium.
All of them allow the artists mind to refresh and refocus on the feelings that will be expressed in the next series.
The development of a news series requires time to be hatched in the mind and the heart for months before ideas even start to be expressed on paper.
All artworks are able to be taken on purchase.
Entry to the gallery and exhibition is free.
