A vineyard crafted high on the slopes of the Coal River Valley near Hobart in Tasmania, Caledon Estate produces exceptional cool climate wines.

Set amongst the gum trees, overlooking the village of Richmond, the vineyard nestles comfortably amongst its natural environment.

This family-owned, single-site vineyard offers you wines that are reflective of their unique, panoramic site and can be enjoyed in our architecturally designed cellar door. We are open 10-5pm to visitors for wine tastings and offer a wine bar menu featuring local produce including oysters and local lamb.

All Caledon wines are proudly grown and made here with love in Lutruwita/Tasmania.

Join Sasha, the resident wine doggo, and her apprentice Biscuit, on a private tour for two at Caledon Estate vineyard. Explore areas normally off limits and discover Caledon’s finest growing varieties and Cab Sav secrets. Since Sasha lacks thumbs and can’t open gates, her hooman will come along too, sharing additional insights into our 11ha vineyard. After the tour, indulge in a cozy fireside wine tasting complemented by exquisite canapes curated to deliver the complete Tasmanian experience.
