Gerard McCabe Jewellers will celebrate 40 years with a special month-long exhibition in Adelaide Arcade from 1 to 31 May 2026.
As part of South Australia’s History Festival, the exhibition will trace six generations of the McCabe family, from their beginnings on Hindley Street in 1878 through to four decades of jewellery craftsmanship, design, heritage and treasured memories.
Visitors can explore family artefacts dating back to the late 1800s, milestone moments from the business, and meaningful customer and staff stories.
From 1 to 3 May, a curated display of jewellery from valued clients will also be on show, before the Antique Jewellery Roadshow returns for one day only on 8 May, offering complimentary assessments of heirlooms and personal pieces.
