Nestled in the Karuah Valley North of Newcastle, the Central Hotel is situated in the small, picturesque village of Stroud. Central by name and location, there is no better way to enjoy the Australian countryside with locals, making it the perfect spot for travellers to spend the night and enjoy the history and activities in Stroud and its surrounding regions near the Karuah River.
Central Hotel features great value pub accommodation on the upper floor, with modern amenities and a communal TV room along with coffee/tea making facilities. The bistro serves quality pub food with daily specials Monday to Thursday and the bar is open 7 days a week. Entertainment at the Central Hotel includes live music every Saturday, locals night and meat raffles on Thursday, Friday footy night and a Sunday pool comp.
There is free parking offered in the hotel car park, plus ample unlimited parking on the main street. There are no lifts, the rooms are accessible by stairs only.
