Sutherland Shire is home to the second biggest bicycle pump track in Australia, with 954 square metres of curves, dips and transitions for riders of all skill levels and ages to enjoy.
The track is part of a large, fully fenced facility with accessible toilet facilities, shade structures and parking within the Ridge Sports Complex.
Recycled road materials have been used to build up the base and track profile at the site, which previously served as a landfill for the former tip site, minimising the environmental impact and also allowing for substantial savings in disposal costs across the project.
