Woodfordia’s Festival of Small Halls has announced that one of Canada’s best-loved roots musicians and few banjo troubadours, Old Man Luedecke, is heading out on tour alongside perennial favourites, Australian/Irish outfit, the Barleyshakes Duo in the next iteration of the beloved touring series. Kicking off in late May, this tour will visit 11 regional towns in a series of shows and workshops that are co-produced with local community groups and Councils.
Now regarded as the benchmark for rural and regional touring, and presented by veteran festival producers Woodfordia Inc, the 50th edition of the not-for-profit music tour is meandering from Wardell in NSW out as far as Augathella in remote Queensland, before heading back down to finish up in Tenterfield, NSW.
