Join Mudgee Ale Trail for a relaxed 6.5-hour full-day adventure departing from the Mudgee CBD, exploring one of the Central West’s newest brewery destinations in Portland along with the historic Royal Hotel Capertee. Perfect for craft beer lovers and those keen to explore beyond Mudgee, this tour showcases the charm, flavours, and character of the region.
Your day begins with a convenient pick-up from a designated meeting point in the Mudgee CBD. Sit back and enjoy the scenic journey in our Brew Bus as we travel toward Capertee and Portland. Alternative pick-up arrangements may be available on request for guests staying outside the CBD (additional charges may apply).
The tour includes time at the iconic Royal Hotel Capertee, followed by a visit to Zig Zag Brewery, one of the region’s newest craft brewery experiences. If your group wishes, we can also include an optional stop at The Salami Man for a unique local tasting.
Complimentary light snacks, water, and a photo service are included so you can relax and enjoy the day. Meals and drinks purchased at venues are not included.
