Itinerary highlights
Snorkelling, Diving, Coral viewing and Bird Watching
The highlight of the tour is the Great Barrier Reef.
Whether you snorkel over it, dive into it or sit back on the glass bottom boat it is a wonder to beheld.
All equipment is supplied and once onboard there is no more to pay.
At the first destination is Michaelmas Cay where not only is there reef to view, but also one of the largest sea bird colonies on the coast. This is very popular with birders and children.
From here it is onto Hastings Reef on the outer edge, a very different reef to Michaelmas.

Seastar Cruises Cairns
Seastar Cruises offers a unique experience combining two stunning destinations in the one award-winning tour. It is the low numbers specialist – providing a fully comprehensive tour for a smaller group.
Seastar Cruises premium all-inclusive reef cruise combines the outer Great Barrier Reef with Coral Cay Island. The fast air-conditioned Seastar 1 can take you from Cairns to magnificent Michaelmas Cay, the largest of the local uninhabited coral cays. Cruising past Green Island, Upolu cay and Oyster reef Seastar is the first boat to arrive.
There is enough time to go snorkelling, do an introductory dive, relax on the beach of the Island or join a tour in the Glass Bottom Boat. After an enjoyable time here it is only a short 20-minute cruise to the splendid Hastings Reef sitting on the very outer edge for more snorkelling and diving.
