The TapHouse Townsville is all about craft beer, good food and a great atmosphere . Based in City Lane, Townsville, The TapHouse serves up some of Australia’s best beer from independent craft brewers. Their ten taps constantly rotate and they have featured thousands of beers from independent breweries since opening in 2015.

Beer is a conversation and they love to tell the stories behind each brew. Tap takeovers and beer degustations are regularly hosted at the venue, so be sure to follow online to know what’s coming up.

They are NQ’s number one Craft Beer Bar and for the past two years, have been named 3rd best Craft Beer Bar in Queensland in the Beer Cartel’s craft beer survey. They have also achieved bronze in the Pubs, Clubs and Casual Dining category in the 2019 North Queensland Tourism & Events Awards.

The bar has a casual and relaxed atmosphere; offers share plates and a great tapas style menu; as well as an extensive global range of bottled and tin craft beer, cider and wine. Located a short walk from the Queensland Country Bank Stadium, it’s the perfect place for pre and post event drinks.

Some come on down and have a beer and bite.
