Guests stay in beautifully restored heritage-style cottages designed for couples, families and small groups seeking comfort, privacy and connection with nature. Do the cottages have fireplaces? Yes, along with private verandahs, spacious living areas, quality furnishings and peaceful garden or creek views. Days are spent exploring local cellar doors, relaxing beside the creek, spotting birdlife or soaking in the outdoor bath beneath the stars. Tucked away in the Eastern Garden at Diamondvale Estate, the Humble Hut is a one-of-a-kind outdoor bathing retreat, rich in character and story.

Crafted almost entirely from upcycled and recycled materials — including timber salvaged from a Toowoomba bowling club and pieces shared by local legends Bill and Jenny Humble — this unique space reflects a deep sense of sustainability and community connection.

At its heart is a deep outdoor bath, inviting you to sink into steaming hot water beneath soft festoon lights or a canopy of stars. Nearby, an open firepit flickers gently, creating a warm and intimate setting to unwind with a glass of local Granite Belt wine.

Designed for privacy, romance and relaxation, the Humble Hut offers a memorable way to slow down and reconnect — whether as a quiet moment for two or a highlight of your stay.
