BIG4 Taggerty Holiday Park is the perfect base for a high-country adventure and an abundance of natural experiences. The Cathedral Ranges is a magnificent backdrop to stunning walks, fishing and exploring nearby towns including Marysville, Alexandra and Eildon.
Just 90 minutes from Melbourne, the park is set on the banks of the picturesque Acheron River where you might even spy a platypus. Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is nearby for winter snow play and year-round sightseeing.

In the park, guests of all ages enjoy a swimming pool, adventure playground, tennis courts, mini-golf, jumping pillow, basketball, fishing, fossil dig, giant chess set, games room, pedal carts and a large playing field for cricket and football.
Local attractions include four-wheel driving, mountain bike riding and horse riding, snow skiing and tobogganing on Lake Mountain, water skiing or canoeing on Lake Eildon, and local wineries and markets.

Holiday Cabin
The centrally located holiday cabins are fully self-contained. They are just a short distance from the river, playground and pool. The main bedroom features a queen bed, which is fully made up including towels for two people the second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and all linen including towels is supplied, but not made.
Standard Large Cabin
Situated in a quiet court location within strolling distance to the river, playground and pool our standard large cabins are fully self-contained. The first bedroom features a double bed that is fully made up including towels for two people. The second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and all linen including towels is supplied, but not made.
Standard Small Cabin
These cabins are perfect for the budget concise traveller who still wants to get away. Located in a quiet court location within walking distance to the river, playground and pool. The small standard cabins are fully self-contained with two-bedrooms. The first bedroom features a double bed that is fully made up whilst the second bedroom has one sets of bunk beds with all linen including towels supplied, but not made.
Riverfront Cabin
Situated directly on the Acheron River our beautiful riverfront cabins are perfect for that quiet getaway. Stroll out the front door to do a stop of fishing or light a fire and sit back and watch the Cathedral Ranges in all it majesty. The riverfront cabins are fully self-contained. The main bedroom has a queen bed which is fully made up with towels supplied for two people. The second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and all linen (including towels) supplied, but not made.
Family Cabin
Our family cabins are great for the bigger family or a couple wanting that extra space. They are fully self-contained with two separate bedrooms – the larger with a queen bed fully made up and towels for two supplied, the second bedroom has two sets of bunk beds all linen is supplied including towels supplied, however the beds are not made up.
Three Bedroom Riverfront Cabin
Located on the bank of the Acheron River this stunning three-bedroom riverfront cabin is perfect for the larger family or two families wanting to share. The magnificent Cathedral Range makes for a beautiful back drop and a pleasant sunset view. Please note: Bunk bed linen is supplied, however beds are not made up.
En-suite Site
Want that little be of your “own luxury” whist enjoying your camping experience, our En-suite Powered Sites are ideal. All En-suite sites are at least 8.0 metres x 8.0 metres are well positioned within easy access to the swimming pool and other park facilities. En-suite 5 is the only en-suite directly located on the banks of the Acheron River.
Powered Camping
We have a variety of powered sites – some with concrete slabs, which are suitable for caravans, camper trailers and motor homes. Our powered sites are well positioned near our amenities and all park facilities. We have shady, sunny and riverside sites to choose from.
Unpowered Camping
We have a large variety of unpowered grass sites. Riverfront views, shady or sunny, sites vary in size with most being 8.0 metres x 8.0 metres. All are with walking distance to our amenities blocks and park facilities.
Rapid and Rapids Willow End (Group Bookings Only)
Suitable for groups of up to 5 families this is one of the best locations in the park. Located on the Acheron River in a beautiful shady area. Price includes 10 people with extra adults and children charged at standard rates.
