The Penneshaw Pub has been the home of beer and cheer for over 100 years and offers uninterrupted ocean views over Backstairs Passage from a cliff-top on the western side of town.

Farmers Feast
Guests gather around the front bar fireplace for mulled wine and nibbles before moving to communal tables for a three-course shared menu. Each feast celebrates a seasonal local product—honey, seafood, grains, or root vegetables—with insights from the farmer or producer between courses. Afterward, guests return to the fire for dessert and nightcaps with live acoustic music.

Whisky By The Fire is a cosy winter experience where guests gather beside a crackling fire to enjoy a curated selection of whiskies, featuring local and Australian producers alongside familiar favourites. Ocean's Bounty
Ocean’s Bounty is a coastal winter dining experience created in partnership with American River Oyster Farm. Enjoy freshly shucked Kangaroo Island oysters with seasonal seafood-inspired bites, hear the story behind the harvest, and unwind with perfectly paired drinks by the sea.
