The southern hemisphere’s longest-running comedy club, The Laugh Resort (est 1991), champions award-winning homegrown comedy talent at the heart of Perth City, upstairs inside Yagan Square.
This beloved (and uniquely not-for-profit) comedy club presents a different lineup each month of top pros, rising stars and visiting comics from here and abroad – on the stage that’s launched some of comedy’s biggest names.
Arrive early for award-winning and distinctly Westralian food and bevvies at family-owned host venue The Shoe Bar & Cafe, and stick around after the headline act for the always surprising ‘open mic’.
Meals are available in the main bar all day. Dinner and Show package is available for monthly shows (online bookings only).
Limited to just 95 seats, it’s recommended to book early for these good times and great laughs with today’s and tomorrow’s comedy stars, on the third Wednesday of every month.
Tickets are available from Eventbrite. Doors sales only if not sold out prior.
For a real comedy binge, the Club also hosts a bumper fringe festival season five nights a week each summer (mid-Jan-mid Feb) – details via Fringe World.
