For a bird’s eye view of the iconic Lake Eildon, be sure to visit Foggs Lookout, also known as Mt Pinninger Lookout, which offers a stunning vantage point to the pristine, vast clear waters below.
Pack a picnic and bring your camera to capture the action on Lake Eildon with boating, jet skis, kayaks and water sports carving up the water.
There are several seats and picnic tables for you to sit back and enjoy a bite to eat whist appreciating the stunning views of the area.
To get to this lookout, visitors will need to turn off the Goulburn Valley Highway from the Eildon township onto Jerusalem Creek Road for 6.3 kilometres, veering left at the junction with Embankment Road. Turn left onto Mt Pinninger Road (Foggs Lookout will be signposted at the junction here). Follow the unsealed road for approximately 2.6 kilometres to the lookout, continuing past the powerlines. You’ll notice this is a one way loop that continues around past the lookout and back the way you came.
