Since 1936, The Prince has been an iconic Melbourne landmark. From its grand art deco origins, it became a hub for the city’s evolving culture, with the US military taking over in the 40s, the birth of Melbourne’s LGBTQIA+ scene in the 70s, and the rise of punk in the 80s. After a sharp restoration in the 90s, The Prince became a symbol of Melbourne’s culinary renaissance with the opening of Circa, its renowned restaurant.

Today, The Prince offers a variety of experiences: enjoy drinks at the public bar, unwind at the wine bar, stay in the stylish hotel, or catch live music in the bandroom.
