Discover the magic of sourdough at CERES Park, in Brunswick East, Melbourne. In this one-day workshop you’ll transform flour, water, salt and wild yeast into your own flavourful loaves.
Guided by master baker Ken Hercott, you’ll learn fundamental sourdough techniques and fermentation science. Bake a variety of breads – from crusty loaves to baguettes, pizza bases and English muffins. Enjoy a long-table lunch of pizza made on your own sourdough base. At the end of the workshop, take home your freshly baked bread, recipes and a live leaven (starter) to continue baking at home
