Australia’s biggest touring comedy and wine event is coming to Darwin this May!

Grapes of Mirth – Goes Troppo is landing at Mindil Beach Casino Resort for six glorious hours of comedy, wine, music, and very good times.

They’re bringing a stacked lineup of Australia’s best comedians to the Top End for an afternoon of big laughs, top-shelf wine, gourmet eats, and laid-back festival energy as the sun sets.

Hosted by comedian, sommelier, and Grapes of Mirth Head Clown Merrick Watts, this is the ultimate Darwin day out.

Leading the lineup is Australian comedy favourite Pete Helliar, alongside RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under host and Melbourne International Comedy Festival Best Show winner Rhys Nicholson.

They’re joined by mullet icon Brett Blake, the razor-sharp Chris Ryan, and Melbourne International Comedy Festival Best Newcomer winner Frankie McNair.

DJ Pedro Moshman will be on hand to keep things rolling before, between, and well after the comedy wraps.

This is an outdoor event with no allocated seating – so bring your crew, a picnic rug or chair, and settle in for an afternoon that builds into a full-blown party.

All tickets include a take-home wine glass, with plenty of food and drink available throughout the day.
