Tradition and authenticity is important to the venue. From the kitchen pantry to bar shelves, almost every product on the menu is sourced from handcrafted producers all over Spain. The aim is to bring genuine Spanish culture to Sydney.
Paripé was founded by Pablo and Maria, two Spanish dreamers with experiences managing the Real Cafe Bernabeu for the Real Madrid Football Club. They left everything behind to fulfil their biggest dream: a Spanish tapas bar with their own name, Paripé.
Taste test your way through regional Spain with highly prized delicacies such as jamón iberico, hand-tinned anchovies from Bay of Biscay, cheeses from the plains of La Mancha and more. One of the highlights from the kitchen is Maria’s handmade Spanish tortilla, a recipe passed down from her family.
Anyone familiar with Spanish tapas will be pleased to find pintxos, boquerones, croquetas and other typical Spanish favourites on the menu as well – all to be washed down with one of the many Spanish vermouths or cocktails on offer.
