Oh Deere Farm Stay is a beautiful farm stay with an area to camp and learn more about sugar cane with their tours (subject to weather, time of year and work on the property). Oh Deere Farm stay is located at Calen, which is just out of the Mackay Region.
Oh Deere Farm Stay are a working cane farm and have flat grassy areas suitable for all types of vehicles, tents, camper trailers, caravans, mobile homes, buses or swags. The campsite at Oh Deere Farm Stay is a large area around the main homestead of the property with toilet and shower facilities available, including a washing machine and a dryer at a small extra cost for your convenience, also a barbecue that can be used with table and chairs.
Come and have a drink or a chat in the afternoon/evenings, if the weather permits and no fire bans or risk of fire in the cane, they also light the fire pot. Oh Deere have tours available at certain times for people to learn more about sugar cane, ask on arrival if interested.
