A combined effort of the Jamieson Community, the Arboretum in Chenery St was planted in 1989 on the old pine plantation site adjacent to the school, to become a picturesque addition to town.

From the top of the arboretum the views over town and the surrounding mountains are stunning. Especially spectacular in Autumn. A grassed path leads up to the pavilion.

A welcome addition to the stunning tree plantings in Jamieson – stop in for a look and get out your camera.
