Pine Rivers Art Gallery is an intimate contemporary space presenting new and diverse perspectives from emerging to mid-career artists.

Only 30 minutes’ drive from Brisbane CBD and a 5-minute walk from the Strathpine Train Station, the gallery program blends local and national artists through collaborative projects and inspiring exhibitions.

The gallery is an incubator space for developing and sharing ideas through an everchanging exhibition program that presents experimental and contemporary works by artists from the region and beyond.

A commitment to representing and celebrating the region’s artists is realised through the annual Moreton Bay Region Art Prize, which provides opportunities for entrants to strengthen their skills and develop their networks.

Visitors of all ages can extend their exhibition experience in our dedicated workshop space. Throughout the year, a diverse range of events and activities are presented, from hands on artist-led workshops to family-friendly school holiday programs.

Delve deeper with an impromptu or booked tour with one of the friendly gallery team to take you through the making and meaning of an exhibition.

Pine Rivers Art Gallery hosts a small shop with a focus on creative publications where you can find the perfect gift to inspire yourself or loved one.

The gallery is free to visit and offers easy access for people with mobility constraints and accessible free parking is just metres from the main entrance.

  • Seating in common areas including reception area

Physical – Wheelchair

  • Caters for people who use a wheelchair.

  • Step free outdoor pathways (includes picnic areas, barbecues and shelters)
  • A step free main entrance to the building and/or reception area (includes ramps or slopes with a maximum gradient of 1:14, otherwise are too steep for wheelchairs)
  • Doorways which are easy to open and have lever handles (doorways 850mm or wider when open and not heavy).
  • A wheelchair accessible toilet / shower and change room is available.
  • At least one wheelchair accessible parking space with wheelchair accessible signage clearly displayed (International standards are 3200mm wide x 2500 mm high).
