You will be travelling as a small group tour, a maximum of 10 travellers in an air-conditioned bus.

Highlights include Chillagoe, Udara and Capricorn caves. An evening at the Chillagoe observatory.
Savanahlander train. Talaroo Hot Springs, Cobbold Gorge, 3-hour guided tour with boat ride. Spectacular sunset cruise in Karumba.

Visit the Baramundi centre, Riverslea centre, Kronosaurus Korner Discovery Centre, and Flinders Discovery Centre. Discover history at Winton with the Waltzing Matilda Centre and Australian Age of Dinosaurs.

In Longreach, learn more of the pioneering past at the Stockman’s Hall of Fame, Qantas founders Museum and an evening on the Thompson River paddle steamer cruise, followed by dinner and an outback show.

Go underground at the Mt Isa and Rubyvale mines. Enjoy spectacular landscapes at Porcupine Gorge and Willaman Falls.

Tour includes many other stops and things to see, breakfast daily, 2 morning teas, 4 lunches, 5 dinners and 2 champagne and nibbles included in sunset tours.

Itinerary highlights

Outback Queensland Adventre that goes into dinosaur country. Learn about Australias prehistoric past

The dinosaur trail of outback Queensland takes place at Richmond, Hughenden and Winton. We’ll visit all three locations where you will learn about the inland sea & its creatures. Visit the Australian Age of Dinosaurs with Sauropods, foot prints in stone and see Banjo, a dinosaur named after Banjo Patterson. Learn about the history of Banjo Patterson and his link to Winton.

Qantas also has a link to Winton as does Longreach. Longreach delves into our pioneering past. These two amazing towns are an insight into Australia and how the outback has shaped so much of who we Australians are today.

Two towns that are a highlight to our adventure in outback Queensland and we look forward to sharing them with you.

  • Modify their cooking and cleaning practices to cater for people with food allergies or chemical intolerances (could include menus with meals free from: nuts, dairy, seafood, eggs, gluten etc).
  • Staff are trained to respond to allergic reactions.
  • Complies with The Food Authority requirements for allergy management in food preparation.
  • Equipment to respond to anaphylactic shock such as epi–pens and defibrillator.
  • Linen that is chemical and fragrance free (if requested).
