In its 7th year, over 3000 athletes from Queensland, interstate and overseas are expected to participate in the 7Cairns Marathon and Community Run Festival.
As the first official run festival of its kind held in Cairns, it continues to generate significant visitor activity to the region. The marathon festival features something for all ages with 2 kilometre, 5 kilometre, 10 kilometre, half (21.1 kilometre) and full (42.2 kilometre) marathon distances.
The festival has a strong community focus, with Ronald McDonald House Charities as the event’s major beneficiary.
