A Taste of Vintage invites guests into the working winery at Gibson Wines during the most dynamic time of year. The experience moves beyond the cellar door, offering a guided walk through the fermenting space where fruit arrives, tanks are active and the rhythm of vintage is in full swing.
Visitors see how the season unfolds in real time. Aromas of crushed fruit fill the air. Ferments are tasted where possible. The process of cap management, pressing and maturation is explained in practical, accessible detail.
The tour concludes back in the cellar door with a structured tasting that connects what has been seen in the winery to what is in the glass. Shiraz takes centre stage, alongside other varietals that reflect the evolving Barossa landscape.
