In July school holidays each year, the Abbey Medieval Festival welcomes thousands of visitors to experience life in the Middle Ages, specifically 600 to 1600AD in Europe and the Middle East.

The Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology together with re-enactors, jousters, performers, food vendors and merchants deliver one of Australia’s premier living history events.

The Friday Family Fun day will return with a family and sensory-friendly day.
This day offers a shorter, affordable ticketing option with inclusive activities for all ages.
With a sensory-friendly focus, Friday family fun day provides a smaller capped crowd experience, with high-sensory activities such as cannon fire removed from the program.

Features all the favourites of the festival including Jousting and Birds of Prey, entertainment and encampments, markets and food merchants.
