One-on-one surf lesson teaching the basics of surfing. Get undivided attention for two and a half hours. A professional Kool Katz coach will teach you the easiest method of standing up on a surfboard on the sand first. Then they’ll work with you in the water, pushing you onto the waves until you are riding them. You’ll then be taught to catch your own waves. Kool Katz Learn to Surf School offers beginner to advanced, group and private surf lessons, including multi-day surf course package deals all year round. Pickup and business headquarters in Byron Bay. Lessons at Flat Rock, Seven Mile Beach and Shaws Bay area.

Not just a surf school but a surf tour, Kool Katz takes you on a fun-filled 20-minute scenic coastal ride to the pristine sands of Seven Mile Beach at Lennox Head – or to Shaws Bay in Ballina. On a good day, you’ll surf with the dolphins and watch the whales.
