Albury’s award-winning Library Museum brings together state of the art technology, a focus on the city’s heritage, engaging interactive exhibitions and the reading and research elements of a library.
The Library Museum is home to intriguing objects, fascinating treasures and exhibitions full of stories. ‘Bungambrawatha: Stories of Albury’ is part of the Museum’s permanent exhibition and tells the story from the first contact with the Wiradjuri, traditional owners of the land, to the City of today. And don’t forget to look up, a life-size replica of the Robbins and Porter monoplane is suspended from the ceiling.
The Library Museum also has a changing exhibition program, which features touring exhibitions, works from the Albury City Collection and community exhibitions.
