Over his 20-plus years in the spotlight, Alex’s songwriting has always shot straight for the heart, from early hits that became part of the national soundtrack to new material that speaks to current positioning.
Alex Lloyd grabbed audience attention during the Oz Rock boom with his breakout single ‘Black the Sun’ in 1998, followed by the iconic ‘Amazing’, which topped the triple j Hottest 100 and helped cement his place as one of the country’s most distinctive voices.
