Alison Wonderland has spent the better part of a decade becoming one of the most recognised figures in electronic music. With over 1.1 billion streams and a Coachella headline slot that made history, she has turned a career built in Sydney clubs into something genuinely global. Her live shows are something else: spectacular visuals alongside live vocals and cello, a combination that sets her apart from the festival circuit she has come to define.

Her fourth album Ghost World is a14-track collection written during a period of major personal change. It’s built around the community she has spent her career cultivating: a space for outsiders, for anyone seeking refuge and connection in music. As Alison says “I often feel like I’m wandering this earth trying to find my home, both artistically and personally… I want people to know that while you’re on that search, there is a place of refuge here for you, with us, in Ghost World.”

Alison Wonderland plays The Tivoli for Open Season. For an artist who fills festival fields, this is something rarer.

Open Season is The Tivoli Group’s annual program of music, art and cultural events, transforming Brisbane into a winter playground for live performance each year. Open Season is independently owned and operated, and has funding assistance through the Live Music Office of the Australian Government and Arts Queensland.
